I have been eating a lot of eggs since I have been in Nigeria. Because I’ve been reluctant to eat some of the popular dishes such as Eba and Moy Moy. I will try it soon!
They say eggs are high in cholesterol and to not eat so many. But that may not be true!
Dr. Jonny Bowden explains in his book The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth “Cholesterol just might be the most misunderstood molecule in the whole world. It is important to keep in mind that cholesterol is not a health risk in and of itself. In fact, cholesterol is vital to many of the body’s essential function…Dietary cholesterol-like the kind you find in egg yolks- has minimal impact on serum cholesterol. Eggs contain many other nutrients that are good for you- protein, some polyunsaturated fats, folic acid, and other B Vitamins.
